Ping Assets

Overview

Ping Assets is a custom asset management service from Metal Sign & Label, the company behind Online Asset Labels. Rather than a fixed product, it builds an asset management system around your own process, with only the functionality you need. Systems are built on low-code and no-code tools, and track assets by QR code across mobile, desktop and web, with simple interfaces designed to keep adoption high and user error low.

Ping Assets integrates with Airtable, Google Sheets, AWS, Zapier and AppSheet, and a mobile app with QR scanning is available. You can choose where your data is hosted and who can access it, and white-label options let you use your own logo, URL or app name. It suits businesses with unique requirements where no existing product fits, or with basic requirements that don't justify a large system. The team is based in Brisbane, Australia.

How Ping Assets works with our labels

Ping Assets is built around QR code scanning and comes from the same company that prints Online Asset Labels, so the label codes and the system can be planned together. Your asset IDs are printed as QR codes on durable anodised aluminium or laminated polypropylene tags, with sequential numbering if you need it, and scanning a label in the Ping Assets mobile app opens that asset's record.
