Overview

MapTrack is asset tracking, maintenance and compliance software for businesses that manage tools, equipment, plant and vehicles across more than one site. It keeps hand tools, plant, machinery and vehicles in one register, tracked with QR labels, Bluetooth tags and GPS. Scanning an asset's QR label with a phone opens its record: what it is, who has it, when it's next due for service and every inspection done on it.

Best for construction, civil, mining, utilities, council, trades and facilities teams with mixed tools, plant, machinery and vehicles across sites who want tracking, pre-starts, servicing and compliance records in one system, priced per asset with unlimited users.

Key capabilities include checking tools in and out against people and locations, digital pre-starts and inspections that work with no reception and sync later, service schedules by run hours, kilometres or date, work orders that cover a whole round of assets with a pass or fail result for each, compliance records such as test and tag, and GPS trackers and Bluetooth tags (which MapTrack also supplies) for location tracking. Check-outs and audits need a connection.

MapTrack was founded in Australia in 2012 and has its head office in Brisbane. It is used by teams in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, with regional pricing for international teams.

How MapTrack works with our labels

MapTrack is built around QR code scanning, making Online Asset Labels' durable tags a natural fit. Create or import your asset records in MapTrack, encode each asset ID as a QR code on an anodised aluminium or laminated polypropylene label, then scan it in the field (including offline) to log inspections, maintenance and work orders. The weatherproof, industrial-grade construction stands up to the construction, civil, mining and plant environments MapTrack targets.
